Carbuncle.-
Anthrac. 30, 2-4h. For general, it is most favorable remedy.
Echin q, gtt. V. 2-4h. If there is low fever as from blood-poisoning.
Bell. 30, 2h. Redness, heat, throbbing, swelling.
Hep. S. 6, 2h. If there is considerable thickening .
Calc. Chlor. 1x.(1 drachm to the ounce) Application of lotion of liquor.
Apis. 3x, 1h. For much oedema and swelling of tissue around.
Carb. V. 6, 1h. Dark blue appearance, coldness of the extremities, low vitality.
Tarent. Cub. 30, 2h. If burning and stinging pain.
Lach. 6, 1h. General prostration and symptoms of blood-poisoning.
Ars. 3, 1h.Thirst, dry tongue, typhoid condition.
Sil. 6, 8h. Indolent carbuncle and after it has begun to discharge.
Boric Acid powder, for external, use dress with boric acid ointment (powdered Boric acid, one drachm to an ounce of Vaseline or prepared lard).
