Constipation.-
Nux. V. 1-30, 8h. In sedentary people, ineffectual urging, dark, spare, frequent desire, but only very little pass.
Sulpher 3-30, 8h. After Nux, If there is insufficient. In persons who are subject to skin eruption, who suffer from fainting spells, flushing of heat to the head, or sinking sensation at the pit of the stomach, especially
about 11 a.m., Frequent insufficient stool, sensation as if something remained behind in rectum. Piles which bleed periodically.
Bry. 3-30, 6h. Stool hard, large, dry, torpor of bowels.
Opium. 3, 6h. Torper of bowels. Stool small, hard pieces like marble, dark brown, with drowsiness.
Plum. Acet, 3, gr. ii. Very obstinate constipation, dry, lumpy stool, painless, or with sever colic and retraction of abdomen.
Nit. Acid. 1, 4h. Hard , scanty stool, painful in passing, burning in rectum, passage of blood.
Graph. 6, 6h. Large , knotty stool, covered with white shreds of mucus, expelled with much efforts, associated with delayed menses.
Aesc. H. 1, 6h. Hard stool, with or without blind piles, much pain in the back, sensation of fullness in rectum after stool, sensation in rectum as if full of small sticks.
China. 1-30, 2h. Accumulation of faeces in rectum.
Mag. Mur. 5, 6h. Stool like sheep’s dung, pain in region of liver.
Nat. Mur. 3, gr. ii. Stool retained, sensation as if rough faeces remained in rectum , feeling of constriction at anus arresting it, especially in ill-nourished persons with unhealthy complexion, associated with deficient menses.
Sep. 6-30, 4h. Slow, insufficient stool, sensation of weight or ball in anus not relived by stool.
Lyc 6-30, 4h. With destination of the abdomen, flatulence passing downwards, water high-colored, with deposit of lithates, hard, difficult stool.
Alumina, 6-30, 6h. Dilated and paralyzed rectum, lumpy stool.
Alumen. 30, 6h. Stool hard as stones, passes much blood, constipation of uterine or rectal cancer.
Hydrast. 1, 6h. No desire for stool, constipation alternating with looseness of the bowels, constipation with dull headache, after abuse of purgative, with foul tongue, with piles.
