Preparation For Wrinkles

With time, everyone develops wrinkles, and those that come from laughing and smiling are pleasant and attractive, adding character to the face. By keeping the skin toned and nourished however, you may prevent premature wrinkles.

Avocado Cream Skin Nourisher
2 eggs
1 teaspoon (5ml) glycerin
1/8 teaspoon cider vinegar
3 eggs yolk
2 tablespoons (30ml) rose water
400 in vitamin E capsules
avocado oil
pinch sea salt
˝ teaspoon (2.5ml) lemon juice
Mix together the whole eggs, glycerin and lemon juice. Add avocado oil drop by drop until the mixture thickens. Add in the salt and vinegar. When the mixture has thickened to a creamy consistency add the rose water and beaten egg yolks and blend well. Pour into jar and keep refrigerated. To protect the delicate skin around the eyes and prevent wrinkling, use almond oil to remove dirt and make-up, using movements from the nose to the ears. Raw grated potato or beetroot can be mixed with a little whipped cream to make a good anti-wrinkle face mask. A good toner can be made with nettles. Infuse 8 oz (250g) of nettle tops in half pint of boiling water for 20 minutes. Strain when cool and add a tablespoon of either witch hazel or rose water and apply to the face. Let it dry on.

Oat Nourishing Cream
1 eggs yolks
1 tablespoon honey
1 cup lanolin
1 cup fine oatmeal
juice of half a lemon
a few drops benzoin tincture
Blend the egg yolks, honey, lanoline and oatmeal together, stir in the lemon juice and benzoin tincture. Massage into the face and leave on for 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water. The benzoin will prolong the life of the preparation.
