For Painful (Dysmenorrhoea).-
[The frequency of repetition of dose refers to the period when there is pain; the same
medicine may be given twice or thrice daily during the intervals.]-
Caul. 3, 1h. Spasmodic, severe abdominal pains.
Aco. 30, 1h. Stout, plethoric women, pains unendurable.
Act. R. 3, 1h. When the patient is nervous, restless, and melancholy.
Cact. G. 3, 2h. With horrible pains, causing her to cry aloud; great prostration.
Cham. 6, 1h. With great impressionability and fretfulness. Spasmodic Dysmenorrhoea is often relieved by Cham. twenty drops in half a tumbler of water.
Magnes. Phos. 6x. Give one teaspoon each hour until relieved. Pain in paroxysms, relieved by hot applications. Magnes. Phos. 6x, in a tablespoonful of hot water every ten minutes.
Borax 6, 4h. Pain in groins.
Mag. C. 6, 4h. Violent pains dragging, towards genitals.
Cocc. I. 3, 1h. When accompanied by sickness and giddiness, like sea-sickness.
Gels. 3,1h. Simple dysmenorrhoea, with headache.
Viburnum Op. 3, 1h. Simple spasmodic dysmenorrhoea; with cramps.
Puls. 3, 1h. When the flow is scanty, black, and clotted.
Sep. 6, 1h. When the flow is insufficient.
Xanthox. 1x-3, 1h. When the flow is profuse and before the time, dreadful distress and pain, especially in spare, nervous, and delicate women.
Ham. 1, gtt. ii. 3h. From ovarian irritation.
Bell. 3, 1h. With ovarian irritation, offensive menstrual and leucorrhoeal discharge.
Borax gr. v. thrice daily. Membranous dysmenorrhoea.
